New Board... opening time. | Arthritis Information

Hi,

The new board will be opening on March 29th, at 8:00 pm, eastern time.

The Chat Room will be open for discussions and I will be explaining the "how to's" on how to use the board, answer any questions you may have about the new board and of course the best reason, just to get to know each other, through live chat.

I  hope that you all will have the time to stop by, look over the board and pop into the chat room.

I want to thank everyone who pre-registered on the board.  I am happy that you felt comfortable enough to want to join the board before it's official opening. Your acceptance of the new board has given hope that we can build another strong community of Giving, Caring, Sharing people.

Thank you all for your wonderful support.

Crunchy.  I am glad you will be there.  I will be in the Chat room.

I tried to answer your PM but your PM is over limit.  To answer your question.  I have no idea why. You are showing up as a member. But, go back to the new board and log on,  click the lost password. It then will send you another activation letter.  When you receive it.  Use the link it gives you and then, (it also should have a temporary password for you to use) use that password with your user name.  Once in, go to your profile and change your password.  Keep an eye in your Bulk/Spam box, as I have been told that sometimes they end up in there.

In case you need more help, PM again.

when I registered the other day, it said I would receive a confirmation email but when I checked I didn't get anything...so not sure if I need to register again

Hi kelstev

No you shouldn't have to re-activate.  It shows you as a member.  But to be on the safe side.  Go back to the new board and try to login.  That is when any trouble will show up.  I am sorry to put you through all this but sometimes things happen.  Did you look in your bulk/spam box or trash box for it.  Some times Yahoo and Gmail will think that is where the activation e-mails should go.

Keep me in the loop as to what is happen with receiving your activation letters.  If this is a problem, I will be taking it to a higher source, with a louder voice...LOL.

Don't forget 8:00 PM EST on the 29th.

yes I've looked in my bulk email...nothing there.

I'll try to login and see what happens

says i have the wrong user name or password and to try again...I did and used a few other passwords I use, but the same thing.  So I tried to get my password sent to me but it said
Sorry, but your password cannot be retrieved because your account is currently inactive. Please contact the forum administrator for more information.

  Hi kelstev

I am sorry you all are are having problems. You should not be.

I just looked up your name and you are listed as a member.  If you would like me to, I can delete the info you gave and you can try again.  If do delete your info I can not retrieve it. By doing that, you may have to choose another username.  I am new to all this and I can not be real sure how anything is going to end up by using the deletion method.  But I did go back into the board and allowed the board to allow quick sign up with out an activation e-mail.  This may help you and anyone else who is having trouble loging in.

As far as your account being inactive...That surprises me. as there is a 30 day login ability put in to place, so if you do not return for a few days, you will not get a hazzel.

Go back and try again and I will look around to see what is going on.

Kelstev and crunchy...Is every thing working correctly now?  I went into the board and kelstev you where considered inactive.

PM me here if there is anymore problems.

Just wanted to let you know I got my email confirmation & was able to log
on without a hitch. So, it's not a universal problem.
