OT : Ballooning Trip | Arthritis Information

Just a couple of images from a recent Ballooning trip I did last week.....
Mornings were freezing, grass crunching stuff.

The recent spammers are trying to sell something...what is Stephen trying to sell? I didn't spend a whole lot of time searching on his web site, so maybe I've missed it, but just curious as to what he's trying to sell? Kel, You won't find anything for sale on my site although I have been asked many times.
My answer has always been NO.

Lev, I find it rather strange that you continue to try and hound me especially after all the spam that has flooded this site recently.
You state that I claim to have RA, I do have it Lev, I have severe RA.
I'd put up all my medical records as proof if it wasn't for the fact that you would take that information and use it for your wrongful means.

There is a lot of other material that gets put up on this board that could be classed as spam.

You along with your gang have managed to get the administrator to take action against the recent spam.
If you want me gone then I suggest that you start another email flurry to the administrator
to have me banned and all contributions to this forum removed.

It really is that simple.

Ra is just not about RA, it is as much about the person that has RA and how they manage the disease.
What I do is about coping, it is what I do to stay afloat. It is about hope and encouragement.

I'll edit this post when I get this spell checker working again.

Exactly.

I have never ever seen Stephen try to sell anything. There are no reasons that I can see to even suggest that Stephens posts are spam.

2) As far as I can tell, Lev doesn't have a "gang" of followers. He does have friends here though and enemies. Just like the rest of us...

3) During the time that the board was being spammed, I received over a dozen different pm's from people asking what they could do and wondering if I knew how to contact Ernest.

I did some research and found some info and then someone site mailed me info on how that they thought would be helpful. I, in turn, site mailed that info to several people. I also sent pm's and an email to Ernest. I know other people contacted him too.

I'm not going to name those people because I believe it will set off yet another ridiculous round of "this person must be Ernest."

I am glad you believe Stephen is not a spammer and now if you can convince Lev that no one else on here is you have accomplished something. I don't think anyone cared about who ernest was but it was finally nice to see him on here for several hours this morning.

It's not my job to convince anyone of anything here. I recognize that people have different opinions than mine. I certainly think that they are entitled to share those opinions..

This is my take on it.

There is a place for a homepage supplied by Admin. Bodak at one time was trying to sell a cd of his photos for ten dollars here at this forum. Everyone knows that it's not like I am picking on just Bodak. I have always spoken against any and all spammers and advertisers. All of them. This forum should not be a place for someone to come and say that they have rheumatoid arthritis and right away throw up their adverising. I think that consitency should be the way to deal with spamming. I don't think that picking and choosing which spam or advertisement should or shouldn't be allowed is a good way to deal with spam. An absolute NO SPAM/NO ADVERTISING rule is best and then all of this is avoided, not just with Bodak but with all the spammers that come here. Anyone with any website knowledge knows that many websites do not sell anything. But, one thing for sure, "traffic" dictates the finacial worth of a website. The amount of traffic dictates what money can be made by advertising. So, once again, I am not singling out Bodak, I don't think that a signature line is a place to advertise, it's just that simple. Name one other forum that allows it. Maybe since Bodak is the person we are talking about, maybe he can tell us what other forum allows him to advertise his business? Does the AF allow you to advertise Bodak? You will never find a forum that allows it. NEVER,NOWHERE. They all have rules against spamming and/or advertising and they don't make exceptions. Right Bodak? Tell us Bodak, what other forum allows you to advertise in your signature line. Even when your friend was here spamming his new arthritis forum, telling everyone here that his forum was better and you agreeing with him, did he allow spamming and advertising? That was pretty funny, he was over here spamming, and yet his forum rules didn't allow it. Isn't that a funny story Bodak? Oh yeah, your friend said since there was "no rules" against it, that he figured it was okay. How did that forum venture work out for you and your spamming friend? But none but this one let's you advertise. Spam is spam.

Kelstev, he's trying to sell traffic. He's advertising his Photography Gallery. He is spamming. He is advertising. Tell me the name of even one other forum that allows it. Just one? Why doesn't any other forum allow it? I know why. Because it opens a door for spammers that sign up for the sole purpose of advertising. If, Bodak"s real concern is this forum and rheumatoid arthritis, he would have removed his advertisement a long time ago. If for nothing else than for peace sake. After all, the advertisement has nothing to do with rheumatoid arthritis. Bodak doesn't spend any time at the AF forum. He's a member. He used to post photos there but, AFDUDE (ADMIN) won't allow him to advertise. Right Bodak? No sense in posting all of your "contributions" there, right? They just don't allow the "contribution" that you want to make.

Lynn, It's always best to either allow spam or not allow spam. Oh, this spam is okay but that spam is not okay is not a good way do business. Just like in any business, making exceptions can become a legal nightmare. You belong to quite a few forums. Name on forum that allows this type of advertising. Does AF? Nope, and you won't find Bodak there much with his rheumatoid arthritis "contributions". They don't allow his type of contributing. Right? Right? They know better than to open a door that needs to be closed. It's just that simple.

Well, let's make exceptions because some one has rheumatoid arthritis? So GoonB2B and Jordanaaa just have to claim to have this disease and they are good to go? Just put the advertisement in the signature line.

And Bodak, no one would need to "ban" you. They would just have to remove your advertisement and we wouldn't see much of you anymore with all of your "contributions". Just like the AF site.

while these are really lovely.. they look surreal. did you use a process on them? I'm being merely curious as a fellow artist.
All my images go thru one process or another....

Every digital camera processes images according to the setting that the photographer sets in the menu system.
I shoot in RAW.
