PMR + Antiphospholipid Syndrome | Arthritis Information

PMR wasn't enough - now I've been dx with another auto-immune disease.  APS (aka Hughes Syndrome) is a clotting disorder that has reduced the blood flow to my extremities (Raynaud's in fingers, cramping in lower legs and feet).  New Rheumy has put me on Plaquenil and a statin and told me to reduce my Prednisone from 5mg by 1mg per month.  I haven't been able to use the treadmill in 9 months (since I was dx w/PMR) and have gained 10 pounds.  5mg pred was working very well for me (except for a pesky pain in the left bicep) but doing nothing for the circulation stuff.  Maybe the Plaquenil will help?  Anyone else with APS?
