How long dose it take you to get in to see a Doctor?

I'm wondering what's going on with our family dr.  Like today, I called at 11:15am.  and got a 12pm. appointment.  This has  happen a lot  lately when I call.  No wait, if I go early I can be in and out before the time set.  Most of the time the office is empty.  We have been seeing him for about 17 years.  less then a year ago it was full, wait about 20 mins. to get in and 4 or 5 days to make.

RA  Doctor -  3 to 4 months to get in........1 to 3 hour wait in office.
Heart Doctor - 1 to 3 months to get in........5 mins. wait in office
eye Doctor -  week to get in...............1 or 2 hours wait  in office
Cancer Doctor - 1 or 2 weeks to get in.......20 mins.  wait in office
Kidney Doctor - week to get in.....20 to 30 mins. wait in office
Ear, Nose Doctor - 2 or 3 days to get in......5 min, wait in office.

We have a few more, I think I spent to much time in Doctor's offices.
The RA doc.  is the best,  He spends time with you, answers your questions.  If something is wrong he takes  extra time.  He allows 20 mins. for each person.
The eye doc. will see you between doing eye surgery, they both are  the best around or I wouldn't wait that long.
Just wondering

I appreciate being able to schedule my RD appointments for the first of the day.... get there a little early and guarantee I don't wait but a few minutes before being seen and then he spends about 20 minutes going over everything before I am finished. I book all apponitments as early in the am as I can.  I used to take later appointments and I would wait 1-2 HOURS!!!!  I can't wait that long--as it is coming out of my vacation time and I don't think of sitting in a waiting room as vacation!
