Yes. I don't know if it does in everybody but I have dead bone in my jaw and the oral surgeon I went to said it was due to taking fosamax. I have also read that it can hurt leg bones. Boniva and Actionel can do the same thing. Evista is made from something totally different and does not do that. I went to a lawyer and because I used the generic and not the brand name I cannot sue. And there is nothing that can be done to improve my mouth. I don't know if it will get worse. I hope I have helped someone by telling this. I just found out I got it.
