Ive been reading your posts to other people, Waddie and Milly.  Ya'll are supportive and nice, I'm glad your here Rocckyd,

Count me in with all the others who are concerned about you and wishing you a successful surgery.  I had no idea you were going through so much!  (I actually read very little on the board.)  My prayers are also with you!

another concerned forum friend..

Hope all went well and  you are healing and improving!!

Thinking about you and hoping for a speedy recovery!Best wishes, we hope all is going well with you.

Whooo hoooo...I'm free to the hotel!

Surgery took 9hrs-crazy.  Dr. said he was not expecting that. He would have had a bigger lunch!  Didn't get to a room till 11pm.
I don't feel too bad.  Well, other than being operated on for 9 hrs.  I did have some lung issues on Friday(no surprise there).  But, that was put under control pretty easily.  I was released yesterday afternoon to a nice comfy hotel bed. Why is it that hospital beds are made for people who are short???

So, going to drug up today(sounds nice huh?) and relax and read.  My dad will swing by here tomorrow and pick me up and drive me home.  PT starts on Tuesday.  My therapist, who came to observe, said it was "feakin' awesome!".  Glad somebody had fun.  Anyway, the first 2 weeks of PT will mainly be for pain control.  Then the real fun begins!

So wonderful! Except for the PT part you have made it!

Now I am just jealous! LOL I am not nearly as brave as you. I have some jaw issues. Not as bad as yours were or are. I just got all of my back teeth pulled out to make room for the swelling.

I am honestly not sure if I am brave enough for any joint replacement surgeries of any kind. Except I would on my foot but I do not think they do toes.

You will remain in my prayers forever. Get well soon. Wishing you a more comfortable and tolerable life filled with great memories!
Glad to hear that the surgery went well

So glad your surgery went well.  You have such a good attitude.  I pray that all will continue to go well with you during your road back to recovery!

Huggin ya!
I hope your day went okay for you today, as much as it can while you're healing. Even though I dont write as much as I should I read your posts all the time, so keep writing So...got home last night and felt pretty good. Then-BAM-felt like a mack truck. So-now I'm admitted for pneumonia since yesterday evening.

No Fun!

But...the jaw feels good! Always something with RA. Get well soon! I was wondering if you had aquired an infection and was feelling poorly?

I am glad you are in the hospital and did not waste anytime getting there. Get your rest and plenty of fluids for a long time. Make sure they take good care of you!
