Methotrexate | Arthritis Information

 

Hi all,

When first starting MTX did anyone have very achey joints.  I took my first injection of 8ml last night and today my joints have ached all over.  It's not a severe pain like a flare but just an overall ache.

 

I did use MTX about 4 yrs ago for a couple of years but had to discontinue due to renal problems and don't remember these aches.

Bonny, though I no longer take MTX, I had aches and pains the next day.  To me, it felt like the beginnings of a flare and all I wanted to do the next day was to stay in bed.
