Hope everyone is doing well today. So far I have had a plum and some grapes. I was not as hungry this morning. That is always a good sign. Let me know how you all are doing... I have a 1/2 whole wheat bagel for breakfast and a cup of coffee.  I am now eating a turkey sandwich for lunch.  So far so good.

Last night I had stir fry veggies with shrimp.  It was light, low fat and yummy.

   Weight loss this week has been 3 lbs since I've been not eating the sweets.
    After I leave this cafe, I'm going to go buy some chicken and make chicken adbo. It's easy and I love it.
I just cook it in one pan and then put it over some steam rice. I make enough to last a couple of days.
   Most of my meals are something that's quick or can be thrown in the microwave. I add more veggies, never enough for me, and enjoy.
   Now that I've found this place, I'll be checking in with you all. I'm waiting for my refund check to come so I can get a new PC or laptop. My old one died!!!

MarisaGood luck!  I just joined Nutrisystem to see if that will override my dumb prednisone.  So far however it doesn't seem to be my destiny to do this.  I placed my original order on the 10th of March and it was supposedly delivered on the 14th but that wasn't possible due to my neighborhood being horribly damaged by tornados the day before.  Needless to say, they wouldn't reship until they had done a trace of some kind.  I finally today got someone to reship the order so I should have it Friday or Monday at the latest.  I have a lot to lose so the sooner the better.  I just have to keep telling myself that I will lose the weight, one way or another!!  I just got a new laptop that I am trying to get set up so I can go online wirelessly and be able to do this when I want instead of when I have a computer available!  Keep it up!  I know you will be successful--I love to read your posts.  They keep my spirits up when I get frustrated.

So good to hear from yall. I am totally spoiled to my laptop---and I am often here with my coffee.

Today I did pretty good. I had a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch with a cup of soup. Chili for dinner.  I have not been writing down my points and I always do better when I track on paper instead of in my head.. So I am starting that in the AM. I am going to work for a few hours tonight so I will check in around 4am when I get home.

I'm just tired and cranky so I ate 2 banana muffins for dinner.

Maybe tomorrow will settle down a bit. 

Just a quick post.  I am leaving tonight to go see my brother.  I got on the scale yesterday and I gained 30 pounds on pred.  I started trying on clothes for the trip, nothing fits except for sweats - which I live in.  I wasn't going to go.  I was going to eat the plane ticket and stay home I was so depressed.  My niece called and talked me into going.  I went to Ross's and bought 0 in FAT CLOTHES.  I don't even like them but they don't show my fat so much.  So now that I am off  pred it is DEFINITELY diet time.  Check with you guys when I get back.  Your family loves you and understands it is the stupid medication.  I wish you well.  I am so scared of the same gain.  I cut my pred in half last night and am moving down to a lower dose myself.
