Hey everyone! Haven't written on here in a LONG time. Went to my dr on Friday and for once had an excellent visit!!! I was on Enbrel, Sulfasalazine, and plaquenil. She said the enbrel is working GREAT for me and she sees barely any swelling/inflammation and everything is looking the best shes ever seen it! So thats a relief! So I asked her about pregnancy since I just got married and am starting to think about that! She said that I dont have to be off any of my meds while we try?! That sounds strange to me......I dont mean to second guess the Doctor but that makes me nervous to stay on everything while trying. She said right when I am pregnant to just stop everything, cold turkey. She said the only medicine that she would want me to get off is Sulfasalazine and that would be about a month before we start trying. Well turns out that my blood work was excellent also EXCEPT that my white blood cell count is very low. She thinks that may be a result of the sulfasalazine so she took me off that completely. So now I'm apparently free to get preggo whenever.......just wondering what all the other women (and men) know about trying to get pregnant on Enbrel and plaquenil......Thanks!!!
