Feeling Relaxed | Arthritis Information

Spring has finally sprung in my part of SW London and you'll get no moans from me today....but I thought you'd all appreciate that I'm feeling a lot better today.

I got back home yesterday, after a week visiting my parents in Norwich (UK), a three hour drive from me.  That kind of took the edge off a really relaxing time away...just lazing and catching up with them, but I woke today on top of everything.  Makes all the depression of a couple of weeks ago seem a long way away, but that's Cortisone for you!!  Spent all of today making tea for workmen who have been 'power-flushing' my central heating system.  Just glad it wasn't me being power-flushed.  You should have seen the size of the machine!

I now have a week to prepare for my visit to Aberdeen for six days and then we have relatives staying with us for a further eight days.  Just as well I'm 'cortisonally' prepared!  I just wish that I could feel halfway like this all the time and life would be much easier to cope with.  So far on the Leflunomide front everything is AOK.  I've had no noticeable reactions of side effects and I have my first two-week blood test for that on Friday.  Hopefully that will be OK as well.  All I need now is for it to actually work!  Ho-hum

Hope you all have a good day today

Glad spring has sprung and you're feeling better.  It's been 2 solid weeks of pouring rain in Northern California and not great RA weather. We have to remember the good days when we're having a bad one.

We are finally getting rain here in TX too...we have been in a drought all winter. No camping with the kids because no campfires alowed. We had state wide burn bans. I am glad to have a little wet weather but I am sore today.

Glad to hear you are having better days Aurora!
