Blood Markers?? | Arthritis Information

 

One year ago doctors told me i have some type of flammatory RA.
My Ankles Swell daily if i stand for and hour or so on them,  first 2 months were very painfull, I had thoughts of suicide even and lost of 25 pounds.
 Meds helped me thru that. Later on my knees bagan hurting bad with an on/off schedule, I can't sleep on my right side anymore because my Shoulder begins hurting so I have to turn back to my left side..... Every Blood Test they have done on me shows NO Signs of RA being with me....All X-rays look pretty good according to doctors.
They have me on 4 types of Medication, Metho, Predisone and more..... one making me gain weight excessively.
HAS ANY ONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH THE BLOOD TESTS????? Its been a year since I've had this.......I sleep better but my leggs always feel like they are on fire and feel like they are wrapped in Lead....

Yes been to two of them since it started --- and both get same results in blood test....maybe i drink too much milk and eat too much candy..... nothing you are doing or not doing has any reflection on your blood tests.

I have never had the markers for RA... but I have the pain, swelling, and destruction as well as having my fluids examined in a lab that show I have the disease.

When you have a flare... sorry to say that you need swelling for this..... ask them to draw the fluids and send to a lab if your RD doesn't have the capability of testing himself...

THEN.. you will get a more proper DX..... and you'll know if it is.. or is not RA.

Are you talking about them drawing fluids from my Ankles when they having swelling??
I had a golf ball size pocket of fluid build on my left elbow once, and they did draw fluid from it for analysis, and if i remember correctly, it came back negative of what they were looking for.
