OT Special Night Out | Arthritis Information

I had my seven year old nephew over for a special night out. Being one of four children it does them good to get some alone time once in awhile.

He was so excited that he tripped running to greet me when he first arrived. He had a corn dog and a plate full of parmesian noodles. He likes being the skinniest one in his family. His favorite snack is a salad sandwhich. Spinach with ranch dressing.

He said it was the biggest plate of noodles he had ever had. I reminded him that once he had a plate of noodles that I had made him and his sister contaminated his plate at the half way point by putting a hand full of her noodles on his plate. So he was happy to eat in piece for a change.

As he curled up in his blanket with his teddy he said this was the best special night ever. It really was no trouble at all on my part. One kid at a time is a piece of cake.

It really is a big deal to the kids so I try to make the time available to them. Because with four kids it may be a week or two till your turn comes around again.

They have soccer and gymnastics and stay busy during the school year. It makes it a bit harder to find a night when they are free to spoil them a little bit.
Milly, sounds like a very special day for you both.  Great times are precious

Milly, that is so thoughtful of you.  They will treasures those special times always.  You are so sweet.  Sandy
