Pink eye | Arthritis Information

Oh it is just pink eye. I thought my head was going to explode. I just do not have any room in my head or face for any new problems.

I took an extra five of pred and hopped into a hot bath. I put rags over my eyes and just soaked. I layed my head back so my jaw and my bump on the head from Sunday night could soak in the hot water.

The pred helped eventually. The left side of my face was under much pressure. The corner of my eye seems inflamed also. Some sort of fluid was inside my eye but it seems better now. Just my jaw was swelling and there was no room for this.

Seriously I nearly ran to the hospital to ask them asperate something before my eye popped out. My ear was pounding.

Much better now. If the pred had not worked I would have gone to the eroom. So I will call the eye doctor I guess. Maybe it is an RA issue? There is some kind of rheumatic pink eye? Anyone know about that? The actual corner of my eye is inflamed the skin part and then pink eye in the corners of both of my eyes?

I have two eyes with pink in the corners. The side that is bothering me is the side with the jaw swelling badly. I guess I need a bigger head. Maybe a couple of shunts would come in handy. My head needs a drainage system put in.

Good news is my blurry vision went away. Honestly I get so dry that in the height of allergie season when I should have itchy watery red eyes I do not. My ENT and myself are both confused as to should I or shouldn't I take anthystamines.

So the very act of having any fluid in my eyes seems extreemly wrong to me.

This little town in the middle of no where has many germs early this year. The heat is not even running yet. We still have the air on. Already the flu, three colds, bronchitis and pink eye have emerged in one short month.

Farm country has lots of nasty pollens. It makes so many people have runny noses. Still it is off kilter for this time of year.

I can not even blame the kids. For one they have not been here much. Also all my doctors have been sick.

My son was sick with the flu and went into bronchitis and he has not needed abx for three years. So it has been a crazy month. That green tea must be good stuff. Thats all he drinks is lipton orange, jasmine and passion fruit iced tea. He does not touch soda.

He is not a health nut he just really likes his green tea. Anyway strange stuff going on around here if you ask me. Last year we did not start getting stuff until early November. Even at that it was spread out a bit. Not all in one month.

Well if this is all there is to catch I would a soon have it all at one time and get it over with. So I wonder if the flu stirred up my anti bodies? Seemed I started with both around the sametime.

Time to get new flu shots. I could not believe it snuck in like that 11 months after I had the shots. It was a entestinal thing not H1N1.
