COLOR=redI hate my arthritis with a passion. I am 16 and i have severe juvenile idiopathic polyarticular rheumatoid arthritis and it sucks!!!!!!!! Im sorry for all the negativity i just feel the need to vent. I am one in about 20 New Zealanders with arthritis as bad as mine! Me of all people to get it this bad of all the teenagers in NZ is typical. Its in all my joints but with all the hardcore drugs im on im almost normal except i still have to have at least a day off school due to fatigue and migraines. I am thankful for the drugs im on but its still a pain in the arse to stick a needle in my stomach twice a week to stay 'normal'. Is anyone else sick of hospitals? I am. After 5 days of being in one because you are so sick with arthritis and they dont let you out of the ward coz your so disabled is enough to drive a person mad! I hate steroids too. Is anyone elses faces really fat from them? I used to have a nice normal shaped face and now it is all big and stuff, hopefully it will be back to normal soon coz im only on 7mg of steroids now coz they are reducing them. No-one else my age lives in my town so i have no-one to talk to who understands. My friends don't get it. It pisses me off. i just want to talk to people who can actually empathize. No-one gets how bad it actually was or how unbearable the pain was when i was really sick. Sorry for being a downer haha, usually im a positive person but having a stupid incurable, pain in the arse 'old persons' disease is really frustrating at times.
