Has anyone had nodules on the bottom of their feet? I learned today that I have one, and that's what has been causing my pain. I also have nodules on my vocal cords, but they have been shrinking. I am off meds for the time being, and feeling not too bad. I am trying to run a few times a week, but this foot issue is not helping. On your vocal cords..oh wow, that doesnt sound good, but thats great they are shrinking! I have them on my achilles...right where your shoes rub right above your heal! They do seem to go down when my RA is more under control.
I saw my family doc yesterday about the nodule on my foot; she said it would likely have to be cut out in order for me to be comfortable (It is the size of a grape). She said sometimes they are injected with cortisone. So i called my rheumy's office, and spoke with the nurse, who relayed my message to my doc. They said they never remove them surgically, and that a shot would not help. I would just have to learn to live with it. My doc was also mad because I just saw her a month ago, and she did not notice the nodule. (I didn't know at the time that was causing my foot pain) Anyway, they old me to keep running on it. < id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall;" id="jsProxy" ="">
