HEY GIRLS, I LOST SOME OF MY HAIR WHEN I FIRST STARTED MTX BUT THAT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME AGO. I WENT OFF FOR AWHILE AND THEN BACK ON IT AND ARAVA. I LOST A LITTLE MORE BUT I JUST RECENTLY WENT OFF THE ARAVA AND STARTED HUMIRA BUT MY HAIR GROWS REALLY FAST AND IS REALLY THICK. I DO STILL HAVE HAIR IN THE SINK AND STUFF BUT I NEVER LOST SO MUCH I GOT WORRIED. GIVE IT SOME MORE TIME, MAYBE THE LOSS WILL SLOW DOWN. SORRY, I KNOW HOW IT FEELS, BUT HANG IN THERE. MELODYI don't know if the hair will grow back. I'm loosing a lot of hair with metetrexate and I wonder the same thing. Sure hope it does. I try not to wash my hair too often since every time I do I loose more hair. I've been on this stuff for over a year.
Quit the Arava three weeks ago and did a one-day cleanse to remove from my system... still tons of hair loss. I am resigned to the fact that it will have to be cut off and pronto! There is hair all over my clothes, pillow, kitchen.
Used to have a nice long pony tail but now its super thin and tiny.
Once the arava is out of my system... when will my hair grow back? Anyone had experience with this. My rheumy said it would start to grow back in a few days?? That was three weeks ago when I still had some hair!!!
