Does anyone have trouble wearing rings on their fingers? I have been unable to wear my wedding rings since last year due to swelling. If I can get them on in the morning by late afternoon I have a real struggle to get them off before my circulation gets cut off. I feel so odd without my wedding rings that I'm going to have them tattooed on instead. I feel that way my fingers can swell all they want and I wont have to worry about my circulation getting cut off. Does anyone else have this problem??Yeah...I don't even bother with rings now. Maybe you could get them on a chain and wear them around your neck.

I've had the same problem.   In fact hubby has checked with a couple of jewelers and found that there is a Arthritis friendly ring mounting that you can obtain.   It is hinged on the bottom so if you can get it on you can get it off at any point.   It's not too terribly expensive.   I can't recall exactly how much.  I will have to ask him again.

I too was thinking of the tattoo thing.   Funny how we all tend to think a like at times.  :o)

I had my wedding ring enlarged a number of years ago, which was a shame as it has a pattern on it that has been disrupted.   Fortunaltely my left hand doesn't swell the same way as my right and so I've had it done just the once, but I've given up rings on the other hand.  The middle finger on my right hand looks really weird when I'm having a flare!

I went to a jewler who enlarged my rings. There was one scarry day when my joints were swollen and I couldn't get them off. olive oil did the trick. This jewler promised me that if I ever couldn't get the rings off again, he would make a house visit and cut them off with a special tool he has.I wear my rings only when the swelling in my hands is down which hasn't been for years. I'm too afraid that I won't be able to get it off.

The joke at my house is that my husband is married and I'm not. I have terrible problems with rings too Some days I
can wear one or two and some days can't wear any.
I even have a problem with my watch. I put it on in
the morning but have to take it off after a couple of
hours. Even after enlarging it...still problems.

I like the tattoo idea

I pray I can continue to wear my engagement ring and my wedding band. I'm so proud of them both I rarely if ever take them off. Their beautiful. My husband had them specially made for me and they are everything I ever dreamed of having.

I HAD MY RINGS ENLARGED AND PURCHASED FROM THE JEWLER A METAL DEVICE THAT FITS INSIDE MY RING AND IT ADJUST UP OR DOWN DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH MY HANDS ARE SWOLLEN THAT DAY. THE SMALL METAL PIECE WAS LESS THAN TEN DOLLARS.I do not have an engagement ring, didn't want one, but I wear my wedding band on my pinky, I could wear it at times on my ring finger but I am always afraid the joint will swell up and then I would have to have it cut off.  I don't even bother trying to wear any other rings.  meme
