Enbrel, Menstral Cycle? PreMenapause | Arthritis Information

 

I have had RA since I was let say 15-16 years old. I was always on time. Never off on my periods. Ran like a clock / calander day to.

 

Now I am 41 years old. The bones are not the good anymore. I am on Enbrel 25 mg a week. I can't handle the 50 mg a dose I get to weak and sleepy. I cant get anything done.

 

Now I am having really irregular periods. One every 47 days, for maybe 4 days. Then one for 30 days for 6.5 days. The latest is the waited 6 wks and have had it for 11 days. I mean, not even heavy or medium, just light. Could this be enbrel related?

 

Could it be screwing up my cycle?

Not on any B.C. pills Enbrel never caused a problem for me there.  It sounds like you may just be starting perimenopause a little early?  Only way to tell is a visit with your GYN and blood work to test your hormone levels.  Good luck.Could be starting your change.  My Mom was done by 42.  I was on enbrel for a few years and never interferred with my menstration.  They joys of being a women:) Why thank you ladies for responding to that. I think I am gonna like this Form thing. I will check in with the OB MD.
