Hello,

I wanted to let you know that we have a new community  support board for Fibromyalgia and other auto-immune diseases.  We are a very new community and few people know that we exist.  It has been designed to be a total community for friends.  We have many things of interest on the new community board.  Please feel free to stop by and take a look at us.  Try the music player and maybe look at the games we have linked to in our Game Room. There are many other forums that may interest you.

We would love to see you there and if you care to drop us post in the Visitors Forum letting us know what you think of the "Round Table Forums"  Please feel free to do so.

Come on by, we would love to see you there.

Hi, You are not alone! I have had Fibro for 28 years, any questions? I will try to help you. LyzHi, I have fibro  & RA....I am on Cymbalta & Enbrel, I have had 4 shots of enbrel & was feeling great, but now my aunt is dying slowly & I am taking care of my 86 yr ole Dad, My stress is about to go through the roof, & I can't just go away from it all....I am also on Xannax, ...I did go for a walk (short walk) Sunday, it helps, but today I can't get it together, I feel like I am going to have a BIG Fibro. flare, the best thing I used to do was sleep for a couple days, but that isn't possible, I do go & have acupunture 1 time a week, the darn ins. don't pay but it does help....& I love flowers, but the summer heat has just about dryed them up I wasn't able to get out & water them, & I have a BIG problem with asking for help, I am 50 yrs old, no kids, retired, I am engaged but can't leave my Dad to get married, I my man is going to move to WI. where his family is, cause they are getting ole & not well....Sorry, guess I am winning.....but get your rest, & ask for help  & go for a walk if you can...

Hello I posted on the spondylitis board & now on the Fibromyalgia board.  I was diagnosed with both in 2001. I was fine one day and the next morning I got up to go to work and almost fell on my face because me knee was so swollen.  That was February 7, 2001 and my life has been nothing but doctors, needles, medication and a whole lot of pain ever since.  I am extremely depressed (and not taking anything for it).  I am taking so much for pain and my doctor wants to start me on Rituxan.  I am scared to death!  Anyone have any Rituxan stories they can share with me?

I don't really know much about Fibromyalgia but I have a friend that has it and I know it is hard on her, she also has RA and OA. She says she is always tired and hurts everywhere, I so feel for her.   I would like to pop in here and read your post if you don't mind. Maybe I can be of some support to her.  I don't have to many people posting in the Fibromyalgia Forums that I have on my board either. That is why I came here.

I have no idea why you do not have many posters in here, I do know that a lot of RA sufferers have Fibro too. It may be they feel more comfortable posting on that board.  I know I usually head for the RA board and forget about the OA board, even though I have it pretty bad.

Here's hoping that you all have a wonderful week and very little pain.My RA gave me a prescription for Cymbalta for the Fibro.....  I could only last 3 weeks on that drug....  I was tired all the time so, I took myself off!  He said that there is success with anti-depressants when you have fibro.   I don't know about that,  I couldn't keep taking it and feeling depressed and tired...  so, I live with the fibro pain, and just keep taking my RA meds.     Oh well...... tired most of the time and don't need more drugs to keep me tired! I can help you GET RID of your fibromyalgia. I'm not kidding!

Hello, I'm not looking for a new diagnosis it's just for years I felt like all my illnesses from childhood added up to something.Wondering if anyone here had similar things happen to them or if any of this sparks a thought.Doctors don't seem very interested.
I was born crippled in cast till 2. Diagnosed with JRA at 2 years old.Had Kawasaki disease at 6 I think. Had my knees drained twice at 7.They were swollen with so much fluid they needed to drain them. Had mono at 15.Was diagnosed with lupus at 22 kidney almost failled. Now doctor is looking into diagnosing me with Fibro.Just wanted to know if all of this added up in someone elses head as a different disease or if it sounds like we're on the right track.I'm sorry if I sound wacko.I'm just curious if anyone else has a similar history.
