I think I will go to the store and get some pecan pie. I have spent the week trying to shedual appointments. Then was told I could get one two blocks away so I canceled one sixty miles away.

Well as soon as I canceled the one then they called and said they could not do it here. Arghh!

I will try again tomorrow. Now they are trying to make me go two hundred miles away.

So the only solution I can think of is pecan pie.
pecan pie! is a good idea!!

Good luck w/ the scheduling
Oh, Milly, I'm so sorry.  I know how frustrating that can be.  With the trying to get in part, that is.  As far as '200 miles away', well lucky enough I work in the city (an hour from home) and I see physicians (rheumy & opthomologist) at the hospital that is affiliated with the university that I work for.  I'm fortunate because I can leave work, run across the street (or take the underground tunnel) or drive just down the road for my appointments, and then come right back to work when I'm finished.Oh, and pecan pie sounds like a great idea!  I love pecan pie!
Best of luck to you!

Milly,

Pecan pie and a camera to take some pictures on your 200 mile enjoyable cruise. Enjoy the trip.

200 miles on a fasting trip. Enjoyable! Nice try. LOL

If I could eat pecan pie on the way then maybe enjoyable. LOL

I am thinking if I could find the test in a city where I have friends to visit then I could sleep over. I have such fatigue at the moment that if I got a room I would posibly sleep past the appointment.

So I will check a few other cities. Then see how it all goes. That is cities that I know my way around in or know people in.
Milly,

Where are you located, if you don't mind my asking?  We have some pretty good physicians at Saint Louis University and Barnes Jewish Hospital here in St. Louis, MO, if that's not too far for you.  Do you know anyone in St. Louis?

Yeah, I agree a 200 mile trip while fasting may not be all that enjoyable.  LOL  I guess you could "treat" yourself to the pecan pie AFTER the dr visit for putting up with yet another appointment and the long drive.  Heck...you can have the WHOLE PIE and not just a slice.  LOL

Good Luck, Milly!

I do know where St. Louis Mo is. I am however leaning toward Indiana instead. I found a different hospital about a two hour drive away.

I am not getting the test done this week. At first I was all gung ho and ready to get it over with.

I had to many other appointments which I am happy to say are all over with.

I am going to take a nap before and after making the appointments. LOL

The pie I already ate. Not the whole pie but more than one piece. I shared.
