After all these years I still get excited about the first snowfall. It actually didn't last very long and not enough to cover the ground. The birds and squirrels were rummaging for food like it was their last meal. But, I will be just as excited to see the first robin.

we had a wee bit mixed with some rain earlier. I agree...always love the first real snowfall.I always look forward to first frost, as that pretty much marks the end of the fall allergy/bug season. And the beginning of flannel PJ and electric blankie season!!!
