Does anyone have upper arm pain with their R.A.?? Sometimes jumping to the other arm. My R.A. doctor commented that this wasn't R.A. although it started at the onset of R.A. about 6 years ago.   It goes away periodically but seems to be coming back more frequently.    Thanks.   Gillian. GM,

When you say upper arm pain, more specifically where? Muscle, bone, joint, skin?

I have those kind of "moving" pains from Fibromyalgia. I have inflammatory arthritis and Fibro. The fibro pain is different. It moves around and is a sharp and/or burning type of pain. I have a lot of pain in my right shoulder, which hurts badly enough to bother me all the way down to my elbow.

Last year I began suffering from bicep tendonitis.  Is it in your bicep tendon?  My RD told me that RA can and does affect the tendons.

I have lots of tendinitis that kicks up in several joints when I'm in flare mode. I also have rotator cuff problems in both shoulders. As I write this I'm in flare mode and just had Kenalog injections in both shoulders a couple hours ago.
