tendons and silver skin | Arthritis Information

I am on MTX 7 pills week. Tramadol midday and bed time, along with lunesta 50% of the time. So i went to doc to discuss new pain in elbows and wrists that seems to go from joint up muscles. He said PSA attacks the tendons and also silver skin or muscle lining. Has anyone else received this explanation and what are your experiences with this part of PSA. Thanks for any advise and commentsInteresting. All I can say is that I have a long history with tendinitis. Never heard it explained that way but it makes sense to me.So i did somemore research and some docs are saying PSA may sometimes only afect the tendons and not the joints. This may explain why my elbows wrists bicepts hurt not so much the joint but from joint inot the muscle. So im going to ask my doc about fish oil and see what he thinks and as long as its not hard on the liver to  handle it im going to give it along woth the MTX and folic. I will be moving up to 8 pills every week on the MTX. Seems like my skin is moderatly better but PSA started in my knees and is now in neck wrists and elbows. It is hard to be patient waiting for a consistent relief of pain. My biggest problem witgh the pain is when i lay down to sleep my knees will hurt so bad at this point that even the sheet on top of them makes them hurt but they are not that swollen. To me this seems wierd.
