2nd appt with Rheumatologist | Arthritis Information

Had my second appt with the Rheumatologist today and they are going to test for Peripheral Neuropathy and Infectious Neuropathy to see one of those is the second "illness" that is compounding the PMR.

I was talking with another individual who has a different autoimmune disease and when I mentioned the electric shock like pain that I've had and the times where both hands were burning so bad it was excrutiating - he suggested that I talk to the Dr. about Peripheral Neuropathy.  I looked it up on the Mayo Clinic website and finally, some of the other symptoms I've been experiencing was listed with a disease.

This whole experience has been so bizarre.  48 hours ago I was in so much pain that I just sat and cried (and swore a lot) - right now I feel the best I've felt in the last 7 weeks.  I'm just going to hope that the lower pain level I'm at right now sticks around for a while, or goes away, and that I don't have too many more of the horrible attacks.
