Cymbalta, anyone? | Arthritis Information

Who else here takes Cymbalta?  I just started on it 6 weeks ago.  I tend to get achy and moody in the winter, and zoloft just wasn't doing anything for me anymore.  My rheumatologist suggested I give Cymbalta a try.  So far I'm feeling pretty good - I have less inertia, and Aunt Flo isn't nearly as bitchy as she has been. I've been on Cymbalta for about 4 years. My RD put me on it mainly for the peripheral neuropathy I have. I never really considered myself depressed, but now that I've been taking it, it sure has helped with my moods and some of my OCD tendencies. When I first started taking it, I had extreme nausea, but after a couple of months, it subsided. I have noticed some weight gain, but because of all the joint problems I have, I don't get a lot of exercise. Last year he upped my dosage to 60 mg. twice daily, and I've even put on a few more pounds. But on the positive side, I really do believe it has helped with some of the lower extremity pain.
