Hey guys happy new years!!!
I had my 2nd actemra infusion 2 days ago. I am so helpfull it will work, but so far nothing.
I love my doctor though. I am not sure if my jra is worse or if she is just more observent, but she has found quite a bit of inflamation in my wrists and fingers. She believes me completely and takes me much more serisouly than my old doctor. I love her. I actually opened up to her and told her that I have an eating disorder. I thought it was important for her to know considering I have been having a lot of nausea which we have been blaming on methotrexate...its unclear if it is mtx though as not eating enough also can cause nausea. If its not better in the next few weeks I will be starting subcu methotrexate. since being neausous is not good for me considering it makes it much easier for me to not eat.
I really like this doctor. She is understanding and warm and believes me. She also says a lot of my problems are causes by hypermobility syndrome. on top of the JRA.
I am not sure if actemra is working, but at my last appt she said I was def due for my infusion cause my inflamation was worse than last time she saw me.
I REALLY want this to be my miracle drug!!!!!!!
