Starting A New Year...... | Arthritis Information

I'm pretty sure that I'm going to ruffle some feathers with this, but here goes

I have read a lot of complaints the last few months about how this board isn't what it used to be and quite honestly...I agree.

The problem I'm having is that if posters here are interested in making the board more active, than they need to step up, jump in and do something.

Discussions, conversations, sharing can only take place when people are willing to engage.  I haven't seen a lot of that recently.  I know people have lives, they get busy, they get better and they move on.  I've been guilty of that myself of late.

But if you want to help  the newbies (and some of the longtimers) with RA or  you need to vent a little, you need to step up and start posting.  Otherwise, this board will stay exactly as it is........
The board is what we make of it,  I'm not good at posting, but I get a lot of support from it, there is a lot of good and careing people here.  Thank you all and lets try to keep it going.Hi,Lynn and Rusty. I am pretty new here. I have been reading a lot of posts but not participating much. Hope you don't mind me posting so many questions. Happy New Year to everyone.

Vwelcome Vee,  Ask all the questions you want,  This is a good site just slow right now.I'm with Rusty...Questions are always welcome here....Ask away  This  is one of 3 arthritis message boards to which I belong, and all seem to have suffered since FB gained such popularity.  I've even had past members say they are too busy to come in and post now .... but they always seem to have time for FB       I prefer our message boards - more personal, and we can ask questions or comment on the problems we all encounter with "Arthur" in our lives.
Must make a late New Year resolution to make more posts - hope others  do the same - even if it is a one-sentence reply to posts of others - at least we will know you are still alive
LorraineHi everyone. I am a newbie and just wanted to vent a little. I was diagnosed with RA just before I lost my health insurance so I cannot afford to go back to my Rheumy for meds. I asked how much an office visit would be without ins. and was told 5. Ouch! Anyway I am hurting all the time and don't know what to do.
Sharon Hi everyone, I dont post much, but I read the board every day.  Yall just seem to help.  I feel fortunate most times because so many of you are having such a hard time.  I feel good most of the time, but RA shows up a couple times a week, then I read the board and realize I cant complain, it is what it is.  Please keep the board alive, it helps

Hello everyone, I have been reading this board for a long time now, never really posted, but when I did post I always recieved a quick and reassuring response that has been very helpful to me. Reading has made me feel like I am not alone in my daily struggles and that is something that the people in my life can not give me. Thank you to all the caring people who offer their advice or just a kind word, it makes a world of difference to alot of us.
