Anyone seen "My RA Fit Kit" commercial? | Arthritis Information

I saw an ad on TV the other night and visited the website, http://www.myrafitkit.com/.

They design a fitness program for you based on a questionnaire where you describe what hurts the worst.  I looked at the website but am afraid to bite.  I'm concerned about being bombarded with emails and sharing personal info.  On the other hand I'm interested in it.

I looked for a big pharma sponsor but didn't see one outright.  Hmmmmm ...

The sponsor is the drug company UCB -- maker of the RA drug Cimzia.

I've seen the commercial and knew it was sponsored by a drug company.  I've decided not to try it.I have a separate  email address just for stuff like this I also went to the orencia site where that woman with very obvious signs of RA talks on the comercial is. I figure I can get free info and if I NEVER open those emails its fine.

Cimzia - ahh, thank you.  I won't buy into it then.

I wish these big pharmas would cut the crap with all this marketing and reduce costs to make the meds more accessible, instead.  Genentech sent me a big notebook with thick cardboard pages that gave me NO information other than the potential side effect warnings on every page.  Ridiculous.

The Enbrel folks sent me a mirror to look in and see the changes in myself some years ago.  For the love of Pete!
