Black Cherry Juice and Gout Relief : Make some extra lifestyle changes. If you decide to use black cherry juice for gout relief, I would suggest some changes in diet as well. You'll see more long term results. Here are some quick ideas. Eat foods that raise pH to keep your body alkaline. These foods include leafy greens, fresh fruits, and pure water. Foods that contribute to gout include red meat, organ meat, dairy products, alcohol, coffee, and refined sugar.

Another remedy that is particularly effective at reducing acidosis (raising pH) is to drink a glass of lemon juice every day. Lemon juice is acidic after being juiced but has an alkalizing effect after being digested. Juice a fresh, organic lemon by hand or with a juicer. Add 8-12 ounces of water and a teaspoon of raw honey, if desired. Excellent results. Combine this with cherry juice, try it out for a month and see for yourself...

In conclusion, drink your black cherry juice. You'll see pain relief and a reduction in recurrence. In the process, you'll be promoting heart health and improving cellular health. All that and great taste, as well. Enjoy.

The only bad thing about the black cherry juice is it has 100% more sugar than the tart cherry juice does. The black cherry spiked my blood sugar levels to much so my doctor recommended the tart cherry juice instead because of the amount of sugar. I drink a glass in the morning and a glass in the even to fight my gout and it really helps.

It's hard to find in the local grocery store so I order mine from Traverse Bay Farms
