Hi Everyone, Im new | Arthritis Information

Hi everyone! Im new here and I thought I’d say hi. Im in California and I work with Jell-o. Im interested in art, movies, concerts and photography. I love the internet and online forums like this one. I’m here because I have horrible back pain and scoliosis. I want to learn about how to take care of my body so that my health wont keep deteriorating as I get older. So I hope to find out some usefull information here. Nice to meet you all!

Hi Purplehazed.

I am new here also. I was recently diagnosed with RA. I had a major flare about 4 years ago in which I was virtually incapacitated for a summer. I could not advocate for myself to get a diagnosis. Eventually it went away. I made some major diet modifications that I think really helped.

About a month ago I had a flare (not as bad as my first). The doc diagnosed RA. So I am dealing with that now. all he has prescribed at the moment is Ibuprofen. I want to try to work with some diet and vitamin options before going the medication route...if this is possible.

I have found this message board to be incredibly supportive even when I wasn't posting. I visit a variety of message boards. I find them to be supportive and fun.

I am a paralegal...sometimes the work I do affects my hands but so far I have been able to deal with it. I love music, sports (especially football), biking, running, reading, gardening, traveling and I am passionate about a few select TV shows.

Maybe I would create a margarita flavor or Sangria. I really do not drink much but I love those flavors.
