Will the moderator of this forum please delete ignorant Ronbn56's account for those of us that actually suffer from something other than a potato deficiency?88ronbn562011-03-09 20:06:1355ronbn562011-03-09 20:05:3877ronbn562011-03-09 20:04:0644ronbn562011-03-09 20:03:0588ronbn562011-03-09 20:03:20I don't have to send them private messages.  They know a crude, rude, nutcase when they see it

This "Quack Miranda Warning" is on every just about every woo-meister's website. I see dozens of patients every day, and I never Mirandize them, so whats the deal?

There are three ways to look at this: the truthful way, the sinister way, and the bat-sh*t insane way.

  • Truth: Anyone who wants to sell you something that's a load of crap must use this statement to cover themselves legally.
  • Sinister: Variation of above--someone wants to sell you something that you are supposed to believe is medically useful, but at the same time they tell you in fine print that it is not medically useful. When it doesn't work, they don't get sued. I wonder why anyone would buy something with that disclaimer attatched to it? When I treat someone for a medical problem, I pretty much say that I intend to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a disease. Why would I say otherwise? It would be a lie. Also, who would go to see a doctor that told you that they didn't intend to diagnose or treat disease. The whole thing is bizarre.
  • Bat-sh*t insane: The FDA and Big Pharma are in cahoots with the AMA to keep you from learning all the simple ways to treat diseases. They want your money, and they'll do anything they can to get it from you, including suppressing the knowledge that anyone can learn to heal cancer.

  • I can't really help the people who believe #3, but people who are willing to suspend their paranoia should read #'s 1 and 2 a few times. Unless you're being arrested, no one should be reading you your rights. The Quack Miranda Statement is the red flag that should send you running.

levlarry2011-01-26 20:18:07Thats right I own a potato farm in the everglades and if you by a potato at the grocery store they may buy my potatoes and if i sell enough potatoes i will get rich. After all I can earn maybe 50 cents a bushel and by posting here i may sell one more potato. I must be a spammer with motives of selling you dumb asses a vegetable cure. One day maybe i can be like the drug companies and make a 10k per cent profit and hire posters to post nonsense of this board like the Lynn kunt.ronbn562011-01-26 19:21:15I am not asking you too. Everybody knows how dangerous a potato is and the side effects that can occur and how expensive they are. It is best you stay on you cheap drugs with no side effects that cure nothing. After all why would any one want to try something so simple when the medical industry has told you how complicated it is and they are after all gods, while i am just a mere nobody trying to poison you dumb asses with a potato.Ronbn56,

What a filthy puke you are.

[QUOTE=levlarry]Ronbn56, This has got to be a joke,  too crazy to be anthing else,  I just had 2 brain sugrey  and I know better,  so funny,  will it cure anything else  I have a long list. There is something off here. I don't understand your motives for posting, Ron. Would you be so kind as to explain why you are insisting you have a cure for RA as simple as potato juice?

This is a forum for people w/RA. We come here to share ideas, ask questions, and get support from fellow patients.

Your posts are very hostile. If you have something valid and worthwhile to say, then plesse say it, but we would appreciate it if you would park your hostility and vulgarity somewhere else.

The members of this forum have real pain and real daily struggles with this disease. Please be aware of that and show some sensitivity along those lines.
    Vee,

He claims to have no disease but yet everyone knows that to be a lie. He has a disease called mental illness. Nobody in their right mind would act like he does. Hey ron, get help for your disease. And this isn't the forum for that disease.

ANYBODY THAT IS FEELIN FROGGY CAN JUST JUMP ON OVER HERE. LETS SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH THOSE OLD TIRED BONES FULL OF DRUGS AND YEARS OF IMPACTED sh*t. EVEN THAT BULL DYKE LYNN CAN TAKE A PIECE OF ME IF SHE IS SO INCLINED.[QUOTE=levlarry]Vee,

    Lev,
    I think you're right!
He really is in need of some serious mental health therapy.

I think the combo of alcohol and mental health issues is taking its toll on Ron (or whoever he is)

In any case, he obviously needs help........The sooner the better!
ronbn.......hhhhmmmm sounds a little like Robin. Anybody remember our trouble maker Robin  K ??The vulgarity of Ron's posts is offensive and his logic is questionable. I guess he or she may truly have a mental illness. Either that, or he/she is bitter an alone, and bad attention is better than no attention...???I think he's got solanine poisoning. Thanks Jas.

So we all have to "google" it? Or in my case, "BING" it.

Seems you've found what his problem may be Brown, you don't seem to realize that several forum members spent critical years after being diagnosed with RA using alternative methods with no positive results.

Some of us even used quackery and once again without results.

I suggest that you're painting all of us with the same brush and you are very misguided in your assumptions.

I've used just about every alternative method and treatment.  I've been worked up by one of the world's leading alternative treatment physicians and a treatment plan followed for a year with no results except a better understanding of how to mentally deal with the disease.  It was costly and I was non responsive to the treatment plan.

During the 6 years that I tried every alternative med and treatment known to man, my joints were being destroyed by uncontrolled inflammation and now it's too late.  I have major bone erosion, lung and cardiac issues due to RA and those 6 years cost me the chance of achieving true clinical remission.

I'd like to thank you and the other posters who advocate quackery, alternative tratments and complementary medicines soley for the treatment of RA.  You've made my life more medically difficult to treat and my life span shorter by several years.  Believe me when I tell you that the alternative route was very costly both in dollars and healthwise.

I did and do use some complementary treatments along with my alopathic treatment and I find that works best for me.

After my sojourn with the other medical treatment arena I decided that I needed to take a serious look at alopathic medicine.  I found the best Rheumatologist I could find who used both alternative and alopathic treatments and I achieved clinical remission for several years.

I'm now on a new treatment - Orencia infusions and have been doing well, so much better than I was when I was using alternative treatment.

I allow my intelligence to lead me when it comes to making the right medical decisions for my body, not some spammer or disgruntled blogger, no matter what their credentials are.

I haven't posted in a long time but I felt that the other story should be presented.

You have a right to post, just like anyone else but you don't have a right to mislead people.  Lindy
    Well said Lindy.

PS: I like your tag line as well.
Thanks Bodak, people don't realize the impact of their words, both negative and positive because we're all deeply interconnected even if it's on a forum.  What we say has an affect on each and every person that reads or hears it.  Lindy

Unproven Arthritis Remedies: Some are Willing to Try Almost Anything

    http://arthritis.about.com/cs/arthgen/a/unprovenremedy.htm

[QUOTE=EGBROWN]I know how Larry, lynn and others like their drugs but here is the truth of the matter and the real healing begins here, not in a bottle of chemicals and not from some drug cartel. This is information people should know even college proffesors that think they are so smart they know everything there is about everything there is and stupid people like Lynn that can't find  their butts with both hands. None of these geniuses have cured their disease and never will because they have been lied to and believe the lies. Potato juice from raw potatoes is a great help to anyone that is dealing with any form of arthritis. It has been used for hundreds of years and is still in use today. All that you will need to do is take a medium sized potato (even a large potato can work for this). Cut the potato into very thin slices. You may even need to use a vegetable slicer to make it easier. Just be sure that when you cut the potato into slices, that you do not peel the skin of the potato off. After you have finished slicing the potatoes, set them aside for the moment. Grab a large mixing bowl and fill it halfway with cold water (try to get the water as cold as possible). Place the slices of potato in the bowl and let them soak overnight. In the morning, take the potato slices out and pour some of the water into a glass. Drink the glass of potato juice before you eat breakfast. Also the newest video information about arthritis you can see here http://molbiomed.com/home.html?task=viewcategory&cat_id=43&start=24

I probably have more hair than I've ever had. It's just distributed throughout my body. Places I'd prefer there not be hair. But hey, I may not have all of my head hair but, I still have my sanity. Aw Dude, too bad about yours.
