I've tried for about a week to update a thread, but i can never post it. Seems like there is a limit on words or something. I've tried using 2 different browsers with same results. What's up moderators?

I have had no problems and you managed to post this OK.
One tip, if it is a long post - its better to type it out, copy it, come to the site and paste it in.
Try that and see what happens.
Yes, I have what I wanted to type in an email draft. I'll try to paste it below to see if it works...
Nope... nothing shows up. Just hangs. Oh well, who cares anyway.
This last Sunday (Jan. 23rd) I started on the lower dose of 9 mg each day (down from 10). The alternate day of 10 then 7.5 didn't seem to work for me, so my Rheumy wrote a script for some 1mg tablets. So I'm taking 5mg in the AM, then 4mg after dinner. Hopefully this reduction will go more smoothly. So far so good, but the mornings are the worst. It gets better as the day goes on like expected.
I can see now why someone on this forum (in the UK) got the 5 mgs and 1 mgs mixed up. They are the exact same color and shape, but the 1mg tablets are maybe 20% smaller.
Rick - it was slow, and I omitted the emoticon, but as you see it has appeared after I copied and pasted it. Wierd or what!
Even stranger - tinternet informed me the page could not be displayed because it was most likely under maintenance or had expired. Then put me through! And the post was there. And Rick - we all care What I meant was not only do we care about you but also we cared to read your post about statins - they have a place but I don't believe they are as good as the manufacturer has managed to convince a lot of people they are. It's a much bigger story than just how high your cholesterol is - unless you are one of the unfortunate people with the mega high levels due to a genetic problem. There's far too much looking at things in isolation and forgetting about the whole body physiology and biochemistry. Your experience of getting off them and the effect is a valuable bit of the PMR story so it needed to be heard by as many as possible! Gremlins, gremlins ...
