How did every one do in week 2? I lost 1 lb. not alot but it is something. I am ready to really get going for week 3. I would really like to hit the 5 pounds total by Sat. I hope I havent lost yall!!!
I didn't weigh myself this week, but I think I did ok since I haven't been able to eat much due to a toothache. I have to go back to have the tooth extracted.
Have a great week folks. I have decided that when I get to 10lbs I am getting a pedicure. I have been wanting to go get one and I am gonna wait. I have all the necc. things at home to do it myself, but its not the same as when you are in a massage chair and someone is doing all the work for you! Have any of you set a special goal this week? Has anyone decided on a special treat for a particular goal? Also, I was told weight bearing exercises are good, like yoga where you support your own weight. Weight lifting is hard on the joints. That is the main thing my rd emphasized on me going back to work - no weight above 10 pounds. Have fun at the gym. I am going to get signed up this week also. I found a bunch of exercise programs in my area on the Arthritis foundation website. I also looked on the website for my gym and I decided to give the Yoga class a try. I am not snacking anymore but I still need to trim down my meals a bit. I dont feel like I am walking around hungry all of the time and that is a good thing. I hope you are all doing well so far this week. My daily motivation do "behave"...a little bit of low fat, low sugar icecream for dessert.
Other than that, not a lot to remark on dietwise. I am doing
okay. I am going to try and weigh myself today. I don't own
a scale so I have to go somewhere to do it.
I love this! I need to loose around 15 pounds. I am used to working out with weights and jogging, but can't do that now. I sort of gave all that up when I started feeling bad, and put on some weight.
But this week is going to be different. I'm going for a walk each day and I'm going to watch what I eat more closely. I have a certain goal in mind and I WILL LOSE!
