88ronbn562011-03-09 20:18:14Well see everyone is different. Also RA and osteo and gout are all different diseases. Even when it comes to RA the same med that works for one person does not work for everyone.

I am happy for anyone that is doing well. Time and time again people get well and that is great. What ever they are taking or doing at the time they naturally think it is the cure.

I can understand that they feel a great miricle has happened. It is a great miricle everytime a person feels better.

I am happy for everyone that is doing well. It is fine for others to share thier experience with others and tell others if something is helping them.

Just for some nothing works. That may include Alternative Medicine and it may even include Western Medicine.

So try not to take it so personally. If someone was on this board saying that the only way to get rid of RA was with a certain biologic or certain disease modifying drug I would tell them great. I would also remind them that they are one of the lucky ones.

People are different diseases are different. Sjorgren's for example has never ever gone into remision for anyone. It may have periods of being better or worse but it never goes away.

Some people have more than one disease going on at the same time. So all we can do or say is that we are taking this or doing this and it is working for us or not working for us.

Some people get great results from something that does not work at all for the next person.

So getting mad st the people on this board is not going to change much. I am sorry but hey people go to thier doctors and take what thier doctor suggest. It may or may not work and they may try something else.

I assure you most of us have tried both Alternative and Western Medicine at the one time or another. We have all probably looked at our diets from time to time with hope that something may make us feel a little bit better.

So far no one thing has proven to work for everyone.

When one thing does work for everyone then that will be wonderful.
