So Tired | Arthritis Information

I just feel lousey! Not sure what the cause is exactly? My breathing is not at it's greatest. My ears and throat are sort of irratated. Took the last of my abx today. Obviously not getting the expected results out of them.

Well I see the doc tomorrow. I kind of wonder if I need to see the dentist again? Just often when I am this tired it is a tooth. Well time will tell.

Hopefully I can get my allergy shot this week. I have not had one for two weeks. They do tend to give me more energy.

Well this is getting old fast. Thanks for listening.
Hi, Milly,

So sorry to hear you are feeling drained. I'm happy to hear you see the doctor tomorrow. I wonder if your body is just so run down because of the infection and antibiotics. I read somewhere that taking antibiotics lowers the vitamins in your body somehow. I am definitely not a doctor, but you might ask him/her if you need to take some vitamins...??? I don't have any answers. I just wanted to let you know that I care and that I hope you start feeling better soon, Milly.

Peace,
V I got my allergy shot today and twelve hours later I can tell the difference. I truely do not want to miss anymore of those. Breathing is much better. Sinus pressure is much better.

Actually the doc said that the swelling had gone down on my sinuses. Yes I still have an infection and I had pressure on one of my ears pretty bad. In the past I had always been on prednisone when the doctor said the swelling had gone down on my sinuses.

I tend to have an idea of how I feel when I go to the doctor. LOL It is refreshing when they say the samething as what I am feelling. When it comes to ears and ENT's it is hard to get them to admit you have an ear problem of any sort. Alot of times that maybe because I see another doctor first with an ear problem as they hurt so bad I do not often wait for an appointment with the ENT.

Well a great deal more of the pressure and swelling has left since I got my allergy shot today. My ear still hurts some.

Allergic reactions make a person tired also. So I tend to feel less tired when I get the shots. Also allergic reactions sort of take the moisture away from you. Sure they may make your eyes watery or your nose run sometimes but as a whole they leave you with less moisture.

Honestly as a rule it takes something bad for me to get a runny nose and watery eyes anymore. I can some times have a cold and not even need to blow my nose. The main way I can tell if I get a cold is my eyes will burn very badly and hurt.

Seriously scince I have Sjorgren's I notice the slightest changes in moisture. Strange as it may sound my allergy shots have done more for me moisture wise than anything else I have tried for Sjorgren's.

I am not saying it is a treatment for Sjorgren's at all. It is a treatment for allergies. It is just that I can not afford to give up any moisture to allergies. I just really notice it more than a person that had allergies and not Sjorgren's.

So when I get my shots I really notice a big difference between the day before I get my shot and say the day after moisture wise. Fatigue tends to be another issue I really notice.

Well breathing better is a nice perk also. So missing my shots for two weeks has left me with several problems. I am glad to be getting back on track.

I will see how things go the rest of the week. I was at first getting my shots while I was on Cipro for fourteen days. Usually Cipro knocks me out. I found it strange that I was not taking naps or having my usual fatigue while on Cipro. I had gotten the Cipro from a different doctor so I continued with the shots.

When the ENT saw how sick I was he decided to not let me have the shot two weeks ago. Last week it was because of the weather mostly that I did not get a shot. So if I am more energetic tomorrow while still on the Cefdinir that would be intersting. LOL That would actually be more like a miricle. I am my own guiney pig. I am doing a study on myself for my own personal entertainment.

My RA is currently not been very bad the past week and a half. It has a mind of it's own. The Sjorgren's has been getting worse all week long. Sometimes they may both bother me at the same time of course.

Awwwwwwww. I feel for you and hope for you. Cipro made me sick and fatigued. Hated it.

Hi Milly, so glad that you're feeling better.  I just started Cipro and am hoping it will work some magic on my sinuses, ears and throat.  LindyLinB I hope it works well for you. Some bad bugs are going around.
