Woohoo!!!!  I'll print this out and take it to my bank this coming Friday.  Hopefully we can make a connection this time.  Thanks so much Mrs. UK!The saga continues.  I finally made it to my bank today and didn't get very good news.  It will cost approximately .00 US to wire the money to the UK for the dvd.  This is just more than I am willing to spend.  My bank did suggest trying the postal service.  They thought the post office had International Money Orders for .00.  Do you think that this may be something you could cash Mrs. UK?

I'll get to the post office and check to see if this is even an option.  Sorry for all the troubles.

Maybe we just weren't meant to see the video.

That was our biggest worry, far too expensive.   Yes you could ask at the Post Office but ensure you ask for it in sterling as we cannot deal with it in dollars.

Also email on this site with your N&A
This is really just throwing it out there; please don't be insulted. Would it be at all possible to make it available on youtube or imbedded in the website. Then most people could access it online.spotshouse

I don't know,  I will make some enquiries  - but it is over one hour long.
Could it be embedded in the site as multiple episodes? I've viewed things up to a half hour - you just need to think about it in advance. But if the dvd has different sections shouldn't be a problem I'd have thought. Sorry - I didn't watch it all at the launch!I called my bank and they said they can't do this at all.  RickF

All the banks in the UK use it  and we use HSBC which as you will know is worldwide - all I can  say is I am surprised.

Our Post Office can also do international money orders. Just like the old Wells Fargo!!
Nothing surprises me about getting money from the US to Europe - my husband does consultancy for a very big medical products company and getting his fees out of them requires some amazing contortions! They wanted to give him a sterling cheque (check) and send it to us here in Italy - the only way to pay it into our account is to sign the back and post it to the UK (where we then have to pay charges) not the most secure of options unless we pay megabucks for a courier. We thought it was all sorted out at the beginning of last year - then they moved their accounts dept to the Philippines I checked at the post office yesterday about purchasing an international money order.  They have international money orders but only for specific countries and of course none of the UK are listed, so the money order idea is a bust.

This is ridiculous!!!!!!
Before somebody comes back and says 'PayPal', we are too small and they charge too much.   I remembered from before you saying that paypal wasn't an option.  Maybe we could barter?  Is there anything in the states that cost 7 sterling that we could trade for?
