Hi...I am new to this forum, and newly diagnosed to PA as well Besides my joints hurting and being swollen (especially some of my fingers) I am 'extremely' fatigued

My Rheum. wants to start me on Metho. however is checking for other things as well, hoping he hasn't missed anything else that can cause this type of fatigue...so far I know I am not anemic...

Thanks in advance for reading and I am SO glad I found this forum...

I feel drained almost 90 prcent of the time. I am on MTX and folic, my wife recently asked why i been watching tv in bed cause i never use to do that, It is cause i work 40 hrs plus a week and just worn out alot. I have felt less worn out lately do to pain being more controled. I hope you find a solution to help you

I was just diagnosed as well. I'm not 100% sure my diagnoses is correct, although, I do have psoriasis and many symptoms of PA. However, one of my biggest complaints, other than joint pain, is fatigue.  Good luck on figuring it out!   Hi and welcome to the forum I have had both pa and psa for sometime now and have even been in a somewhat remission for a couple years but now it looks like I am starting all over again. My pa is starting to affect my hands and my neck and shoulders again. My toes are getting worse and the psoriasis is now over 75% of my body. My skin hurts so bad from the psoriasis I could scream!!! Fatigue is a BIG issue with pa you do feel constantly tired that is one of the symptoms of pa. I do eat a good diet and make sure to drink plenty of fluids but it has been very frustrating for me. I have been on Metho, enbrel, and humira but I was taken off of them awhile back so I don't know what the dr is going to want to do now. Yes I do get angry, upset, even sad but I do not give up. Right now I am going through more stress then usual but that is due to I don't know if I will have a job after this week due to budget cuts. They are trying to find a place they can put me temporarily until something pops up in a department where I can go until something permanent comes up. I am worried that I will not be able to work in the gardens this season thank goodness I have alot of perennials in gardens so I will still have alot of pretty flowers but I don't think I will be putting in a vegie garden this year,I guess I will have to got to the farmers market instead. Sjenk67 hang in there I know it is scary and it is frustrating but things can get better welcome again and we hope to see you around more often. meme
