Wow! I joined this site yesterday, hoping I would find answers and meet people who could relate to the physical and emotional pain I'm going through...(just diagnosed with PA)...

And it "saddens me to no end" to see these posting back and forth full of SO much "ugly" comments and insults!!!!

Don't you guys think we already have enough on our plate and could benefit more from just respecting each other's postings rather than putting them down???

If you don't agree with what someone says...just "move on!!!!"

I'm assuming you all joined this forum at one point for the same reason as I just did...let's not ruin it, yeah?

Just a thought!Yep.... sjenk,

This man ronbn56 came here with a potato cure for rheumatoid arthritis. He doesn't have rheumatoid arthritis and knows little about it. Most every one with rheumatoid arthritis knows that potatoes actually increases the inflammation in the joints. Most members disagreed with his miracle cure. Well, that didn't set well with ronbn56 and so he started calling the women c**ts and sluts and whores. Hello? Still here? And yeah sjenk, I don't agree with that type of filth and perversion and think that anyone that talks like that especially to women is a very sick and perverted individual.
And I am going to make sure that everyone knows it. Yep. I'm not going to apologize. This man does not need to be at a rheumatoid arthritis forum or even be free. He doesn't have this disease. do you get it? He posts information with out any scientific backing. When he is called on it, he attacks. We are about honesty and truth and science. Not someone's unproven theories. Most his theories are proven to not be credible. And he is a filthy vile perverted non human. What kind of man calls a woman a c**t? Koombaya? I think not. This is not just a thought, this is a fact.

Dear Lev,

Thanks for taking the time to explain...obv. you are entitled to do what you think is best, and if you think that posting more things towards ronbn56 is what is best for you...than so be it! I'm just saying that "I" personally don't find any of these comments beneficial to anyone and having been through my share of health issues, I take everything I read with a grain of salt; do "my own" thorough research before I decide on anything and go from there...

As you know, I'm new to this forum-so don't know all the details between this back and forth 'hate comments' between you and ronbn, however something that he posted in my post was "very" accurate, which was about 'Alkalizing...' I had heard about it before, and yest. took the time to read some more, and you really can't go wrong with eating that way...

Anyway, I'll let you decide what "you" think is best to post here; however I will go on my "merry way" living my busy life-but once again...thank-you for taking the time to send me the info you sent-it was very helpful, as well!

sjenke,

Acid/Alkaline Theory of Disease Is Nonsense

Happy merry way to you.

SnowOwl,

Thanks for your warm welcome and for sharing your story about your friend and your husband. I'm sorry he's Diabetic, it's not an easy lifestyle, that's for sure...I'm very blessed to have a very supportive husband and son - and it sounds like your husband has all your support as well!

So, I see you have RA, is that correct? How are you feeling? How do you deal with the fatigue, if and when you feel it? That's what brought me to this forum in the first place...the horrible fatigue that seems to be taking over my life lately :(

Lev,

Thanks for including that article...very interesting!!!!! and for wishing me a "happy merry way"...although it sounded more ironic, than anything...but that's ok! :)
sjenk,

You are very welcome. As far as wishing you a "happy merry way", I was sincere. If I mean something to be derogatory or sarcastic, everyone will know it. I won't beat around the bush or sugar coat it. Again, wishing you a happy "merry way", sincerely.

Hi and welcome to the forum......it's a little testy right now and you'll have to read and post around some of the topics and posts.  I guess we're used to the negative aspects of having an unmoderated forum and have learned to live with it.  Sometimes when it gets too rough I leave for awhile, regroup and wait it out.  Others are able to stay with the forum.

For me the negativity is too much to handle at times and I need a time out.  Either way isn't right or wrong it's just how we as individuals handle the negativity of the posts.   RA is different in each of us.  None of us have the same symptoms, take the same meds, have the same results or complications.  The same goes for how we cope with the forum.

It would be great if you would stay.  I'll be posting on your other posts about PA and RA and how it's affected me.  Lindy

Lev,

Thanks for the "clarification" and all the best to you! :)

Sandy.
welcome  sjenk67,  if you stay  you will learn what to read and what not to  and that some people are just trouble,  it's sad but that the way it is.  there are a lot of nice poeple here and they know about  RA  and they will answer your questions  or tell you a place  to find the answers,  this site has been very helpful to me.  I can laugh at the crazy  ones, because I'm crazy,  get mad at the ones that know it all.  After you are here a while you'll know who to beleave   and whay to read,  when I'm bored  I just read everything and have a good  laugh.  77ronbn562011-03-10 08:36:54Hi Rusty,

Thanks for your kind "welcome" and you are right...I guess after awhile, like anywhere else...you learn 'who's who!'

Take care,

Sandy.
Dear Snow Owl,

Thanks for getting back to me and sharing your experiences...your tips will def. come in handy and really make sense! I guess, like any other condition, I will soon look back and just see it as part of my life-I'm still at the point of feeling "overwhelmed" and stressed
about all the unknown (which I'm aware doesn't help the cause...)

Thanks again, and I look forward to getting to know you

Sandy.
ronbn56,

Why are you upset that I actually take my medical advise from doctors and healthcare professionals rather than from you? Seriously. How can you be so full of your ignorant self to think that people should take your advise over a professional? And I have no self pity. You can't find a oh woe is me post. I admire people that actually went to school and have the love of helping the sick. I admire them and appreciate their knowledge. And you know what ronbn56? I've many times went against my Doctors advise and not one called me a idiot or a c**t or a dumbass. Each and every time they respected my decision because I researched it, weighed the risks and benefits and factored in the fact of my individuality. They don't get mad. I don't admire you or have respect for you. You are a dirty fithy uncouth man that does not know what he is talking about. Follow you and your advise? Yeah, wait for it.

LMAO!! You meant every word Larry, admit it! You are tired of newbies coming here and getting disgruntled with ' your' site, you know, the one you consider to be the best forum on the Internet?
And your wee comment wishing the poster a ' happy merry way' is your way of saying 'get the Hell outta here'. You have used similar wording to many many people at AI and most have gone. And you have a clear conscience?
And one other thing....you mentioned in another post about your ' sweet talk' sessions with your beloved. Hmmmmmm. You live with your mother Lev.
Remember?Hi LyndeeNZ,

I didn't buy it, either! lol...glad I wasn't the only one

[QUOTE=jpeters]

you better be wary of sjenk67. sjenk67 definately talks out of both sides of their mouths. be careful you'll never know which face you are talking to. got your back brother. trust me. check you messages.

This gets even better....Lev has a minder!!!

And whats the bet its that Lisa creature huh?

I might stick around for a bit, things could get hysterical.  OMG!!!! (As they say...there is no better med, than a GOOD laugh!)Hey Lyndee,

Don't be a jealous hater. You can post a hundred smiley faces. Everyone knows you aren't no smiley face inside. It must be terrible to only be sweet talked after he's consumed a couple of six packs and the bars are closed.

Seriously, when ronbn56 started his filthy rants, I thought it was one of your aliases. Why do you think ronbn56 is disgusting but your sexual filth that you posted here is okay? You seem to have the same perverse attitude, no offense. Seems like you too could become quick buds.

Anyway, don't be a jealous hater, it's ugly.

sjenk,

I don't have anything to say to you now that I know you. Good luck on your journey. Hope it brings you lots of laughs. I'm sure it will.

levlarry2011-03-06 21:43:51LEV,

The last thing I want, is to cause problems...I am not here to win "popularity" votes...however I don't enjoy giving or receiving negative comments, either. Everthing was fine, and I even thanked you for the info. you sent...it wasn't until your "merry way" comments, that I felt you were not being sincere...if you were, I apologize...

All the best.

Sandy.

Lev Lev Lev....you crack me up no end! I am a happy person, and I love smiley faces, always have and always will. You would do well to find a smile sometime. Truly. Try it, you might even like it.

Now to your first nasty comment  re my husband, so you KNOW he drinks  6 packs and in a bar?? Wow!! First I knew so I will be looking into that!

Your second nasty comment re the sexual filth I post. Well...I guess if you are prim and proper, an introvert, a bully, a so called ' christian' person, etc you may find it distasteful and thats fair enough. But boy oh boy, have you posted some dandy sh*te in ya time..lol/
So I reiterate, you are nothing but a limp dick and need to grow a pair of balls.
That filthy enough for ya????

You have yourself a good day now Lev. Gotta keep that heart rate down too remember.
sjenk,

I only used the "mery way" because it was the way you described your what I call our journey. I said it before, I wouldn't beat around the bush. If i meant it in a derogatory manner, there would be no doubt in yours or anyones mind.

We are a great group oof people here. We support and inform each other. And are very supportive of newbies. If you go back and read from ronbn56 entrance, everyone was so nice to him and even after he started calling names and degrading members, some of the members still tried to be nice to him and try to get him to be civil. Not me. From his first time he called Lynn a c**t, I'm done with him. I don't want to be near him. I think that men women and children should stay far away from that man, especially women and children. We are good and supportive people. Do you really believe that Lyndee is here to support or to tear down? Anyway, I won't say "Happy merry way" any more. But I just thought it was cute when i posted it, not mean.

LEV
Lev,

Thanks for taking the time to post again...can we start all over?

Hi...my name is Sandy, and I'm new to this forum! Any friendly advice is more than welcome! I know I have a LONG road ahead...but I guess for now, I'll take it "one day at a time..."

LEV
I look forward to learning from everyone and sharing our stories...

I've tried browsing through ezine articles for information about arthritis. There are some quite interesting and infromative articles to be found.
It is rather time consuming though!
sjenk67 welcome! Enjoy the good stuff and ignore the junk. Over time I think the good stuff out weighs the bad.Hi Marian,

Thanks for the Welcome
