Just wondering if there are any other crazy rollerbladers who continue to rollerblade after a hip replacement? I have (and my doc knows), but sometimes its scary. The other day I fell flat on my butt, and totally freaked myself out! Fortunately it was more scary then anything.
Also, does anyone ski or ride horse? I'd love to get back to doing those things but have been too scared so far.

Hi--------I had hip replacement 6 months ago and need to lose weight. I have purchased a rebounder. My intention is not to jump like a rabbit but to get some sensible exercise and muscle work by virture of balance, low impact, etc. What do you think? My husband had a thr and still teaches trampolining - he doesn't do very much except straight bouncing now. We have had several people with replacement joints in the club and they all enjoy it.
