I'm hurting all over...can it be my PA? | Arthritis Information

Besides being new to this site-having PA is also a new part of my life...so I apologize for this silly question...but besides having a "flare"- is it possible to "suddenly" feel pain in many places of your body? For several months, I had pain in my fingers and toes...now, in the past week, my knees and now even my lower back are hurting tremendously!

I don't have an appt. with my Rheum. until next week, so I thought I'd come here in search of some answers, or previous experiences...

Thanks for reading...
Hi sjenk67,

Yes, it is possible to suddenly feel pain in a lot of places. That happened to me this weekend. I spent most of Saturday on the couch. I took my pain meds and rested. About 3 in the afternoon I was able to funcion. Before that........not so much.

Hope you get to feeling better soon.

VHi Vee,

Thanks for sharing your experience...hopefully you are feeling better, as well! I guess it's just going to take me awhile to get the "hang" of all this; I hope that like anything else, (I have other health issues) once I learn to recognize my symptoms and know how to handle them, I'll feel better-physically and emotionally.

Take care,

S.
