So it turns out that moderation is good for the soul and the waistline
-----------------------------------------------------------------
From the article:
Following a diet plan that deprives your body of healthy balanced meals can create an ill-health condition. What impacts are you having on your mind, body and spirit through deprivation dieting? I will list the top 10 health risk associated with deprivation dieting; however there are many more negative health impacts when unhealthy fad diets, diet pills, or starvation diets are applied to reduce weight quickly.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Weight-Loss-Through-Deprivation-HealthyI've always believed in moderation in many areas of my life, including diet. That's one of the reasons I've followed the Mediterranean Diet for so many years. All of the good things that I like to eat. I'm sure that I'll be corrected but if it works for you I don't care if you eat cat turds covered in chocolate sauce....if it works, it works. Lindy
And just to show I can keep this thread on track, I want to add, that in my opinion, moderation is the key to just about everything. I've been a vegetarian for many years, but I don't deny myself something I might be craving...like an occasional candy, pastry, glass of wine, etc. I consider my diet to be better than most, so I don't sweat the small stuff!

BEING A VEGETARIAN OR THE MED DIET WILL NOT DO A THING FOR ATHRITIS. NOTHING!! IT TAKES MORE THAN A HALF HEARTED EFFORT DESPITE WHAT YOU THINK. OF COURES YOU THINK WELL I DO THIS AND I DO THAT SO THERE IS NO CURE FOR ARTHRITS BECASUE I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING THERE IS. WELL YOU HAVE THOUGHT WRONG.
