Week 3 of Methotrexate.. Concerns | Arthritis Information

I should take my third dose of methotrexate (via injection) tonight. I think I have developed a sty in my eye. When my Doc prescribed it she said that if I get ill I should skip that weeks dose, would a sty qualify as 'ill'? I'd call but they are closed. Help, pretty please...Hi...If I had a sty, I'd still take my mtx. BUT...that doesn't mean that your doctor would agree with me.

If you're worried and not sure what to do, why not skip it for tonight and then call your doctor tomorrow. If she/he says there's no problem, then you can take your mtx after that.

I'm thinking a sty isn't a big deal. I'm going to take it, my knee swelled up huge today, so we'll see...

My RD said never to stop MTX unless I have the fever and shakes... and am in the hospital.
