DONT EAT THAT BUNNY!!! | Arthritis Information

I am not even going to preach about the dangers of chocolate bunnies, marshmallow peeps, or jelly beans. Ham and 'tater salad and cakes and cookies....

I hope that everyone enjoys this holiday weekend filled with family and friends, lots of good treats and eats...and we will worry about our diets on monday morning!

I just came back from the mall. It is crazy out there! People are going every which way... reminds me of the crazy time Christmas can be. The stores are closed for one day and everyone goes nuts! I am glad I got out alive, and my reward was this chocolate treat.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Easter weekend!

Haven't had chocolate for 40 days or 40 nights. MMMMMmmmmmmm. Chocolate bunnies! I'll dream chocolate dreams tonight.  Hey Dar-you really made me laugh...I could just imagine the surprised look on your face!

I had my Lindt bunny yesterday...damn, that's good chocolate! I've had way too much to eat so far.  I keep saying to myself that Sunday I'll behave and not eat much since no one will be here, but I know when Sunday gets here I'll still be eating the junk.

Tomorrow we go to the Naval Postgraduate School for our traditional Eater Brunch. We've been going for 25 years. I can't wait for all the good food and multiple deserts. The dieting can wait.  Have a wonderful Easter everyone.

The bunny was very good! I wait all year to have the Lindt bunny. I laughed too when I realized that it was silly to think that you could see me eating my chocolate. I guess the looking from the half eaten bunny and the screen was me feeling a bit guilting and surprised someone had caught me!

Kelstev, I know what you mean about wanting to eat right tomrrow... I know I want to, but with all the good treats I don't think I will be that strong!

LindaK, hope you have a good time at your Easter brunch. I love those. I bet there will be lots of great food there.

Can anyone tell I love to eat? ha ha! My friends say they can't believe I am not bigger than I am since I love food so much. Chocolate is my weakness. I do want to get in better shape though. I had lost 35 pounds last year, but stopped exercising and put back on 15 pounds. I hope to loose that by the summer. If I can only get through this weekend....

That is hilarious - but it's going to make it harder to eat bunnies tomorrow. Chocolate is not my weakness, however, Mexican food is!  I will celebrate my Easter with fajitas this year.

Tonight we watched the UFC fight on pay per view. It was awesome...and shocking as one of the title holders lost his fight (and the heavyweight title).  My husband cooked a pot of gumbo and then we followed it with a pan of toffee brownies covered in choc. and caramel syrup...

Crunchy, that sounds sooooo good! But for me it will be the same. Lots of salad and fruit!

Put down that lettuce leaf and pick up that bunny!

Lower Mortality: Obese RA Patients or Thin RA Patients?
You may think the answer is obvious, but think again. A team of researchers has reported that obese and overweight patients with rheumatoid arthritis had "paradoxically lower death rates than normal weight or thin RA patients." The result was clearly unexpected.
I was laughing sooooo hard about the bunnies. I'm not having any regular chocolate candy, only low fat chocolate.
I'm going to enjoy my Easter dinner with all the fixings and we're going to have a fruit topped cake for dessert. NO DIET FOR TODAY.

Hey Fifi, so we should all be nice and plump, our lives depend on it huh? He he!

Finish pigging out now, it is almost bedtime and tomorrow starts a new day! Hope everyone is enjoying all of the goodies!

I thought it was pretty funny Crunchy. Here we all are, trying to lose weight, and they're telling us - just one more marshmallow peep!

I really did pig out today - blech! No sugar tomorrow. Back on the treadmill.
You people are all on a sugar highGirl I started my day on a sugar high! For breakfast I had 2 choc. eggs, a brownie, a peep, and coffee.  OKAY I MUST OF ATE 5000 CAL TODAY FEEL LIKE A BIG FAT PIG CAN NOT WAIT TILL TOMORROW.......TERESA

I ate so bad too yesterday! Today is another day... and I still have the tail end of my chocolate bunny starring me in the face! I KNEW I should have gotten rid of all of it yesterday. I ate so much though I had to stop. I think I will keep the rest of the chocolate bunny for next weekend. For fun,I stepped on the scale when I got up this morning and it shocked me! Salads and fruit for me for a while. Now that Lent is over, I'm limiting myself to sweets twice a week. I can't really not have them (and there are still some choc. eggs & a bunny calling out to me ) but I can at least limit the damage. God, I love chocolate.

Oh, I do too Fiona! I love chocolate so much. In fact, I think I drink too much chocolate milk. I don't get any calcuim any other way. I am not a huge yogurt eater. I don't like white milk. I noticed I had a problem with the chocolate milk when I went up to the cash at the hospital's cafeteria, in the hospital that I work in. I didn't know the lady that works there, but she looked at me and looked at my small container of choc milk,  and said "The usual?". Then I realized how many times I go get chocolate milk when I am working!

I look very young for my age. Some people guess my age to be around 16! I am 33 in June. That same cashier told me that one day they were all trying to guess my real age. She asked me how I stay so young looking. Of course it is genetics, but I told her it was the combination of Oil of Olay and chocolate milk! She still laughs when she sees me. Really though, I need to get this chocolate milk thing under control.

dar7733, it's so true about the hips. I swear that if I just look at something that is loaded with calories, I will gain a lb on my hips!
I still have a small basket of Easter candy sitting on my coffee table. I'm going to only eat one piece a day, except for the jelly belly candy.
My leftovers has leftovers from yesterday. Forget getting on the scale, I don't want to have a heart attack.
Have to go and try to squezzeeeee in to my jeans.
