Can someone describe the "sound" their joint would make - if you have RA????

THANKS!

I don't know about sounds but my knees have always popped when I squatted down.

THe reason I ask is - my right knee sounds like crumpling cellophane - was wondering if anyone else has the same type of sounds...

hhmmm.....no, mine just pop...alot.

By the way, welcome!

I have both OA and RA so I can't really differentiate but I have lots of cracking and clicking sounds when I move. Sometimes when I open my mouth there is a loud embarrassing crack. It's really noticeable when the room is quiet.  Since I'm a high school teacher, the kids really pick up on the strange sounds I make.My knees have had popping for years when I bend down.  I get pops in my shoulders and knees occasionally and one wrist.  Never a crackle, just a pop.  "snap, crackle, pop! rice krispies!"---heard at the last arthritis support group
