More April showers here.........I must have the greenest lawn ever with all the rain we've had this month.

Not much on the agenda this morning.

I do have to go and do bloodwork sometime today and other than a stop at the pet store (puppy Wylie needs some new play things
If it rains all day I plan to go to exercise class.  I get bored just sitting around all day.

On the plus side, the rain is supposed to clear up by tomorrow.  I sure would like to be able to finish up my spring yardwork.

I hope you all have a great day Lynn,

Raining here also. Sun peeks out every once in a while. Just for a tease I guess. Oh well, yesterday about 72 degrees and the rains all missed us. So, you actaully posted a picture of you in uniform? Looks good on you. Have a good day Lynn and the same wishes to all my AI friends.

levlarry2011-04-27 06:41:03Cloudy and cool here with the sun peeking in and out occasionally.  We're expecting thunderstorms later this afternoon and evening and apparently major storms tomorrow.  I welcome the rain...I love a good rainy day, some people thinks rain is depressing while I love it, it's peaceful, it's beautiful and when it rains it doesn't get as hot. Has been raining here for about 7 days but the sun is trying to make a come back. They are calling for record flooding in my area as the Mississippi and Ohio are going to flood at the same time.
The temp is good and nice to be able to open windows in between storms-love the smell of the air after a rain shower. Howard the puppy is getting restless having to stay in the house due to mud in the back yard.
Love your new look Lynn-fits you.
Hope everyone has a less painful day...
Nice weather here at the moment...

This past summer is the first I can remember where the grasses remained green thru out.
[QUOTE=Dachie Mom]I welcome the rain...I love a good rainy day, some people thinks rain is depressing while I love it, it's peaceful, it's beautiful and when it rains it doesn't get as hot. It's beautiful here, sunny and in the mid 60's.  Lettuce and radishes doing well.  I have my tomato plants in the garden window while waiting another couple of weeks before I plant.  I've had better days, I'm in the hospital, drug resistant pneumonia.  Am feeling better today so one of the four antibiotics that are being pumped into me is working.  Lots of tests, rest, meds and a possible bronchosopy and lung biopsy on the horizon.  I actually feel really good but I guess I'm sicker than I look.  Doc. admitted me straight from his office.  Even if you only have the sniffles call and talk with your doctor or get an appt.  to be seen.  Take care.  LindyLindy...so sorry to hear you're in the hospital! Was this something that came on suddenly? I'm glad they're running lots of tests, sounds like you're in good hands. Please get will soon, and keep in touch and let us know how you're doing! BTW Lindy...I hope the pneumonia is not a result of starting Rituxin. Had you already had your first dose? Hi Gale, actually this started early Feb. was hospitalized 4 days, sent home on 3 weeks of oral antibiotics, felt pretty good for 3 weeks or so and all symptoms returned.  I saw pulmonologist yesterday and he admitted me.  May be Methotrexate lung along with ILD and bil. diffuse pneumonia that's been resistant to almost all antibiotics until yesterday.  I'm responding well to one of the antibiotics and feel pretty good.  I started with an URI infection a few days after my second, loading infusion of Orencia.  I may be all TNFs and biologics for a long time.  Apparently I was in serious condition yesterday but I'm so stubborn and not give in......mistake on my part.  LindySorry to read that you're not well!  Looks as though you're being looked after, and if you're feeling not too bad, that must make it a little easier! Take that opportunity to rest up while you can, if you can, with all the meds being pumped in, and the prospect of more tests ahead. Sounds as though you have an on-to-it Dr, and that's great.

Feel better soon and take care
Wow LinB you have been put through the ringer. I know for me, I don't get overly excited when I don't feel good any more. With everything you have been through, I could have not givien it a second thought and been totally shocked when I went to the doctor and got placed in the hospital. I hope you don't have to have them go into you lungs and everything can be handled with the meds being pumped into you. I am so sorry you have had to go through all of this but now that I know, I will put you on my prayer list and speak your name out loud to God for healing and strength. Take care of yourself and when you feel up to it, post and let us know how you are doing...Thanks for the kind words everyone.  Just saw my doctor and he had the results of the heart echo and they're not normal.  Cardiologist should be by tomorrow.  Hopefully it can be handled by medication and not surgery.  The lung issue probably is being caused by the left ventricle not working properly.  Will know more in the next day or so.  I'm stunned right now.  LindyThinking of you Lindy and hoping everything turns out okay Hang in there Lindy...thoughts and prayers coming your way. Please let us know as soon as you know anything.
