Dr. Mark Hyman - Lenox, MA | Arthritis Information

Hi All,

I saw Dr. Hyman on a recent Dr. Oz show.  He was discussing gluten free diets.  He focuses on 'functional medicine' that relates to nutrition, supplements, etc for issues such as Rheumatoid Arthritis.  His website discusses serious drugs (like Enbrel that I am on) should be used as a temporary treatment.  I would love to be free of these dangerous (but helpful) drugs for RA.

Anyway, I was looking into becoming a patient at his center in Lenox, MA.  However, the prices listed for treatment are absolutely outrageous.  They don't take insurance.

I would really like to hear from anyone who knows about him, or better yet has been a patient at his practice.  I would like to know if the high price would be worth it.  If I can experience a better quality of life, it would be great.  But I don't want to fork out thousands of dollars for nothing.

Regards,
Nori
Nori,

I remembered reading an article about Dr. Hyman in Salon.
I would suggest you read the article and then decide whether or not you want to spend that kind of money.

Hope this helps with your decision,

Lynn

Thank you, Lynn.  I guess I am desparate to feel better.  Thank you for your time in finding the article and posting the reply.

Nori
