3. Who was your most special guest (person you were most excited to see)?
4. If you could change anything about your day what would it be?
5. Who is already planning for the next holiday or special event and what is it?
Almost everything I ate was delicious. The Prime rib with horseradish and the shrimp were probably my favorites.
The most memorable moment was getting an email from my daughter in Belize wishing me a happy Easter. She is an inveterate traveler and I'm very proud of her.She always remembers me.
No guests this year, just my husband and me but I had the pleasure of seeing a very special friend at church. Her name is Danielle and she is deaf and developmentally delayed. She has grand mal seizures and the last one put her in the hospital for a month. This was her first time out. She's in a wheel chair for the time being, but she sat for a while in the pew and fell asleep on my lap. I am her sign language interpreter in church and being with her gives me great joy. She is always happy and loving and knowing her makes my problems seem like nothing.
If I could have changed anything, it would have been the weather. We had another day of solid rain.
I love our traditional Easter Brunch and hope to have another one just like it next year. I hope my two grown kids can join me next time but they are 30 and 26 and prettey much have their own lives now.

The egg hunt with the kids.
3. Who was your most special guest (person you were most excited to see)? Well, my little niece was adorable at age 3.

I would have gotten better sleep the night before.

No big plan really. I do intend to have some backyard barbeques this summer.
1. Mango-Raspberry-Lime sorbet my sister-in-law made
2. Dinner with family
3. My 4 nephews who played quietly and ate at a separate table
4. Not had to deal with the fall out of mentally ill brother-in-law
5. Hubbies and my birthdays are in a few weeks so we'll have another big family do
1) the most tastiest thing I ate was a toss up between the chocolate (milk, ice cream, and bunny) and the chinese food we had for supper.
2) The most memorable thing of the day was when I dressed myself, did my hair myself, and was able to exercise for the first time in four weeks. I felt so normal.
3) We did not have any guests yesterday. We were asked over to my aunt's house for supper, but instead since my mother was working, we got take out and went to eat with her. It was nice. She wasn't expecting it.
4) If I could change anything about the day, it would have been that I would have taken it easy with the work out. I did 30 minutes of run/walk on the treadmill and 20 minutes of weights. This morning my right side is now swollen (ankle, knee, wrist).
5) I am not planning anything speical for any holiday, but I am getting excited to visit my boyfriend who lives in Virginia this summer. I am worried though. I haven't told him I was diagnosed with RA yet. Don't want to scare him off. I am hoping the swelling will be under control by the time he comes here, and I go see him again.
