I hope you are all doing well, and I will check in soon...when I am back to "my" normal
Sandy.
Hi Sandy
From the first time I was diagnosed with RA right up to now, fatigue has been my RA bane. I suffer from more fatigue than I do pain at times. There is something we can do to take the edge off from the pain but when RA fatigue hits me. There is nothing I can do but give in and let it go....I no longer try to fight it... so my advice is...don't fight it. If you do, it just gets worse.
Your explaination of what fatigue does to you is almost the same with me and when it's really bad I know there is a flare on the way.
RA does effect us all differently. It would be very interesting to see how many of us suffer from RA fatigue and how often

I've heard from some members that have tried Provigil to help with the fatigue. I've not taken it myself, nor discussed it with my RD, but would love to hear from those that have taken it. Like waddles, some days the fatigue is actually worse that the pain, and the only thing that helps is to give into it and rest.
Brisen2011-05-04 18:15:21I forgot to mention, that after my horrible fatigue episode (which luckily only lasted one day) I woke up with a severe arthritis flare up...
Like Waddles mentioned, it would be interesting to learn how many of you have this pattern?
Thanks and MANY hugs to all!
Sandy.
