Hi,

I ran across this board while doing some "surfing" and very glad I did because it looks to be very organized with sincere, compassionate members. I’ve had RA for several years. Fortunately, I was diagnosed at a time when new meds were coming on the market and have avoided any severe deformities. I am now on Humira and Methotrexate. I’ve spent time in a wheelchair, had lots of splints, and suffered LOTS of pain but my number one complaint through the years has been the constant fatigue. I continue to have flare-ups…..some mild, some severe. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with COPD and am presently on oxygen, BUT, I do not plan on staying that way! (I’m a fighter and stubborn as a mule).

I have no problems or questions today. I just wanted to say "Hi" and wish everyone a pleasant day. Markaye

Hi to you Markaye.

We're glad you're here. Sounds as if you'll have lots of experience to share yourself.

I'm also on MTX & humira so we have that in common already.

Hope to see you more often. Welcome.

Hi! Welcome to the boards!Hey there, Markaye - this really is a great place. Pull up a chair - & welcome! What a nice welcome!  Thank you!    I look forward to "hanging around," popping in here and there with a comment or two.  If you have questions of me, please do not hesitate to ask.  MarykayeHi Markaye and welcome. I got diagnosed a year and a half ago so I'm also on the new meds: prednisone, plaquanil, metetrexate and enbrel. I have managed to work full time this year but am planning for half time next year.  The fatigue is the biggest problem without doubt. Sounds like you've been through a lot and I look forward to your input.Hi and welcome, Markaye!
