My doc said he thought my heart was great, in fact my blood pressure is 100 times better now that i am on celebrex. It has never been so good and my heart rate is down to about 84 beats a min where it was over 100 for years. So i am afraid not to take the celebrex.
I think mtx is going to do well for me. I just need it upped. Right now i take 15mg mondays, i heard some take as much as 30 so i think it might work for me.
I just took my mtx first dose of the day and now think i have a cold coming on... so i have a regular dr. appt today and rhummy on 20th, i will ask the doc today if i do have an infection or something, might not be able to take night time dose.
Anyway, thanks for the responses, it's great to have them. Lets you know you aren't alone.
Good for you. Sounds like things are going well for you. Don't forget to let the doctor know about the cold coming on. My experience is a little cold is ok, you can still take the imunesuppesants.I hope the mtx works well for you Shanbr. It's worked well for me over the years.
Over the past 14 years while on mtx, I've had many colds but have never stopped the mtx. But it's always best to ask your doctor what he/she thinks.
